Remanufactued engines are completely disassembled and returned to OE specs for performance and durabilty. Pistons, rings, gaskets and bearings are always replaced with new. An LKQ remanufactured engine should last as long as the original engine design with proper maintanence. LKQ Remanufactued engines come as longblocks and do not include oil pans, timing covers, or valve covers (usually an easy swap from your old engine).
